This charity project is led by Hans Storm, a Dutch national who received the blessing of Ans and Tjebbo van den Eijkhof, long-time leaders of Latvia Outreaches. With deep gratitude, we also remember Tjebbo, who recently passed away. This outreach continues the legacy he and Ans faithfully built over many years.
For Hans, it is both a privilege and an honor to carry this vision forward. He has been involved in and co-organized numerous outreaches in both Latvia and the Netherlands. Today, a dedicated team—made up of Dutch, Belgian, and Latvian members—is preparing this outreach together.
For more than 20 years, Tjebbo brought teams of Christians to Latvia to serve practically and share the Gospel. Over the years, these outreaches have reached many regions across the country, including Krāslava, Balvi, Sabile, Līvāni, Valdemārpils, Dagda, Bauska, Smiltene, Kolka, Jēkabpils, Liepāja, Jelgava, Rēzekne, Ogre, Strūžāni, Kārsava, and Daugavpils.
Bless the people
Bless the people
From 31 July to 8 August 2027, Mission of Hope Baltic will take place in Preiļi, Latvia. We expect an international group of around 100 enthusiastic participants from Latvia and abroad. We also hope to welcome many team members from local churches in Latvia.
Our main goal is to bless the people of Latvia and share God’s love. Throughout the week, we will come together for fellowship, worship, prayer and team gatherings. More information about accommodation and transportation will follow.
We are determined to bring hope to communities in Latvia! We want to reach out to people, listen to their stories and show them God’s love through practical support and personal connections.
During the week, we will visit homes, distribute food packages, share the gospel and pray with people. We will also organize various activities for families, children, women, men and young people. Through clothing donations and other practical acts of kindness, we hope to bless as many people as possible.
We are looking forward to an amazing week of faith, love and hope. Join us!
